Inter Canyon League
The ICL meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7 pm at the Silverado Community Center.
The Inter-Canyon League (ICL) is a nonprofit community organization serving the residents of Silverado, Ladd, Modjeska, Williams and Black Star (black star is two words) canyons. Its mission is to preserve and protect the canyons' unique, rural way of life. ICL was organized in 1969 after 18 inches of rain fell in 72 hours. The resulting flooding and mudslides forced evacuations, destroyed homes and the Silverado Fire Station and killed five people. Write to: PO Box 301 Silverado, CA 92676.
