The Inter-Canyon League (ICL) is a non-profit community organization serving the residents of the eastern canyons of Orange County California, including Silverado, Modjeska, Williams and Blackstar canyons.
Their overall mission is preserving and protecting our canyons’ unique, rural way of life.
ICL was organized in 1969 in response to devastating rainfall. 18 inches of rain fell in 72 hours. The resulting flooding and mudslides forced evacuations, destroyed homes as well as the Silverado Fire Station, killing five people who were sheltered inside.
