Homeowners can get up to $200,000 to repair or replace their primary residence. They and renters can get up to $40,000 to replace damaged property, including autos.

Businesses of any size, as well as most private, non-profit organizations, can borrow up to $2 million.

The loans are for damage from storms, flooding and debris and mud flows that occurred between Dec. 17 and Jan. 4.

The office, at the Silverado Community Center, will remain open indefinitely, depending on how long it is needed, Randle said, on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
